Great concept but seems abandoned and doesn't work anymore with YouVersion's devotionals. Multiple bugs while even signing up no SSO integration. Uninstalled.

It's such a blessing! It helps connect in prayers as the Bible says prays without ceasing. Encourages me in different area that I need to work on. Remind me with the words in a very caking way. I love the music choice too! God bless this work!

Simply an incredible guided prayer app. Has helped in so many ways. I only wish I had known about this sooner. I thank God that developers like this have the insight to create such a life changing app!!!

This is a great app for commentary on scripture. The app is excellent at devotional. I was/am disappointed that it isn’t anything close to meditation. I wish it pull God’s Word into meditation in the same way the Calm app pulls in mindfulness. I was hoping for guided meditation in God’s Word. Instead, as great as they are, this app is mini sermons or devotionals. I’ll update my review if Abide updates what they call meditation app into an actual meditation app. Including calmer background color. You want something soothing before bed and you’re met with extreme bright white light. In addition, this app seems to be portrait orientation only. It should allow ease of use in either orientation.

This app is a blessing from God! I have used this app for the past couple of years. I signed up for paid version and truly love the guides, the longer prayer selections and more. However, for some reason for the past couple of weeks while listening to various prayers it will pause in the middle of a prayer. It has happened a number of times. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if it would fix the problem. Unfortunately it did not fix it. I hope it can be fixed soon! Thank you!

Is ANYTHING what it says it is in this world? I was really loving this app and I even told my son and nephew about it last night. I had begun to use this as part of my morning devotion because it helped me focus. I tried to use it this morning and I could not ANYMORE because I had to pay! I'm so disappointed. Thanks a lot 😡. Don't be sucked into this app.
  • Like it but I don’t hear many women or POC perspective

Love that it’s user friendly — visuals are great. I didn’t subscribe after my trial, however, because it had very few meditations voiced by women or by people with different ethnic backgrounds. It made me feel like only Middle America could be Jesus’s disciples. I’m a US citizen, Asian American, and I know God loves me for my dual identity. When will theological books, sermons, and podcasts affirm women of color who love Jesus? — update 2/10/18 — Hi Neil, Thank you for getting back! I understand that the writers may be diverse; unfortunately, the voice actors — evidenced by tone, pitch, and cadence — are mostly men and white men. In fact, during this week’s 5-day streak, it was one male speaker after another. I think it’s great to have male voices, and yet I would like to see some more representation from women and people of color in general. Thank you!
