  • Crashes too often

    By SkeeteRoK
I just spent $8 on renting an app for a year that crashes no less than 2x every time I use it. iPhone X. Not thrilled at the moment, will change my review on next release if the crashing ceases. And why do I need to add a new store to each list in order to assign an item to that store when I already added the same store to another list. Why can’t I just select from the stores I’ve already created. I feel like I’ve been scammed.
  • Works with Alexa

Use Alexa to add items to your grocery or to-do list. Share lists with another person via text. Great app. Very useful and simple.
  • My New Favorite app!

    By TMG211
Really loving this app so far! Happy I upgraded too. Have only been using it for about a week but it has come in very handy. Two thumbs up!
  • How did I live without this app?

    By Sailaway13
Been using this app since it came out. First app I’ve ever paid for and I’m happy to re-up each year. I have lists for camping and books and Christmas. My biggest use is for a weekly grocery list paired with the meal planning feature. In fact, I’m doing my meal planning and grocery list now! What I love about the app is that I can rearrange the categories to match my pattern at the particular stores that I shop at. I’ve got one for Fred Meyer where I typically grocery shop, and then another list for Costco. I can’t sing the praises of this app highly enough. It’s simple, easy to use and customizable. And whenever I’ve had a problem or didn’t understand something, the developers have gotten back to me personally. So impressive. I’ve been so happy to leave my paper grocery lists behind. This way I never have to turn around and go back home to find the list I invariably left sitting out on the counter. I always have my phone, so with this app I always have my list.
  • Do You Shop? Do You Cook?

Then get this app! Pay the developer the measly $1.00 a month for the premium features and make your life way easier. The developers are fantastic about updates that matter including Alexa and SIri integration to make list editing seamless. Importing recipes from any of the recipe Apps I have with just a click including the picture? Yes! Copy the URL of a recipe using your browser, open AnyList’s recipe bowser (can browse the web for recipes from there too) and you get prompted to import the recipe. It just works! Bravo AnyList team!!
  • Easy and fun to use

    By Emiliodashopper
I tried this app because I was in search of an easy to use list for keeping our grocery list with us so we wouldn’t forget it at home like our shopping bags. This app is very interactive and allows no only a grocery list but other lists as well. With the annual purchase of this app you can create a grocery list and add the actual pictures of the product eliminating the purchase of the incorrect brand or size. The best part of this app is that I can create the grocery from my phone and it instantly updates on my other family members phones and also allows them to add items I may be unaware of. Great app and looking forward to new changes. Best grocery app plus more, download ANYLIST from the App Store now, you won’t be disappointed! Fun for the kids as well!!!!
  • Great software!

My wife and I easily share all kinds of lists with all of them synced quickly to all of our devices: iPhones, iPads, and my iMac. What great convenience and efficiency! We are happy users. We recommend it highly.
  • Perfect for Chefs and would be Chefs

    By Evillona
This is an awesome app, well worth the annual subscription fee. My favorite feature in no particular order: Family sharing, recipe import, meal planing, add some or all of the ingredients to your list, for anyone that’s tried to double or reduce a recipe by 1/2 this app does it for you!
  • Awesome!

    By OsgoodKelch
My wife and I share everything from grocery lists to gift and Christmas gift ideas. Being able to share lists is *awesome* and very helpful. Alexa integration is fantastic! It also has an amazing recipe import function where you can import recipes from most webpages into the Anylist recipe manger and from it at items to your shopping list. Can't imagine being without it.
  • Quite good, Keep updating as vendor responses come in.

This is handy as a grocery list manager. Auto categorizes items & you can add a stores parameter (context?), though does not appear to sort lists by store. You can add other list types, those are roll-yer-own for details. Some of this is outdated, as vendor responds... I've created grocery lists in OmniOutliner, Outliner & even OmniFocus in the past, but is simpler & thus cleaner in Anylist. I still see a one-trick pony for my purposes, but AnyList does it well. Reminder List. It needs a feature to select past grocery items, or a way to store groceries (i.e., milk or beer) that you were NOT currently out of, but may have frequent recurrence in a separate list & Drag & Drop between them, or mark & auto-send to the active grocery buy list. Recipe section is a good idea, will be more usable if it can successfully integrate recipes as well as other standalone apps do. If it can resort & fold recipe ingredients into the buy list effectively. Needs to allow for crosschecking recipe ingredients against the buy list. Also, right now entering recipes here feels too cumbersome (to me). A flag for late, last minute additions would be nice. Vendor appears to be responsive.
