  • Fine

I continue to use Runkeeper for now, though I have left the Pebble since they went belly up. It normally works okay, but it does have trouble with the Apple Watch. Today when I was checking the stats on a walk, it restarted the time, but not the distance. Wish I could walk 1:30 miles!

  • WARNING about running apps!! Prefer it to stratva

    By Barrickmana
This is the best running app, in my opinion! I like how it will chime in and tell me the distance or time as I see fit. WARNING: On ANY running app make your profile PRIVATE I stopped using stratva when I received a follower of a bogus profile that promised to show where to find hot girls running. I didn't realize that anyone could simply follow me and see when and where I'm running. Even after I made myself private this person could still follow me. I found it majorly creepy, and switched to runkeeper, which turned out to be better anyway. I made my profile PRIVATE on day 1!
  • Great app

I am using the free version and I am giving the app 5 stars not knowing how great is the full version ... but so far is a good running application very accurate
  • Inaccurate, makes a great freezer

I downloaded the free app because my spouse did so I figured we'd bike together and have great data to use. I ride much more frequently than her and for the first week and a half it was mediocre. Frequently pauses even though I'm not stopped causing inaccurate data although it also pauses when my ride does so auto pause seems to work. I'm sure nobody wants random pause enabled but there's no way to disable that. Somehow it calculates calories burned without any data. No matter if I bring a 50 pound trailer or have my dog pulling me or ride 3 miles or 5 miles it always says about 300 calories burned. This just can't be accurate. Now, my phone is just freezing and I'm loosing home button functionality when I try to stop the trip. Luckily I'm able to turn off my phone and that allows it to function properly again. But again that is not a fantastic feature. So basically between the random pausing, inaccurate calorie counter, and the freezing this app is trash. I can't possibly imagine someone would want to buy this. If you're considering this app and you've read this far I've heard Strava works well so I'm gonna go try that now.
  • Amazing app!

The app keeps on getting better! The integration with Apple Watch is pretty amazing. The revamp of the UI for the Me section is exactly what I was hoping for. I have been a subscriber for 2 years and the subscription is totally worth it! Keep up the outstanding work!!
  • My favorite app - formerly

    By drequa
This is the best use of a smartphone I know of. For anyone who runs, walks, bikes or does any activity that involves moving around outside this app was perfect. I have used it for a long time now and wouldn't know what to do without it! Get it. You won't regret it. This app just keeps getting better and better. Well as an update it is getting worse. The problems arise with Apple Watch. Runkeeper doesn’t play well with others and because I have had reliability issues with it I always run at least one other tracker. The latest update took away some Watch functionality and my experience has been a frustrating tendency to freeze the app on Watch when using the phone to track. I would ordinarily go to support about this but the support site says I can’t post there despite my many years of loyal use and formerly great reviews. Runkeeper has some serious work to do to get me trusting it again. It remains to be seen if they are listening or care. Right now I cannot recommend it.
