  • Not for those looking to get in great shape

    It’s great for those that have access to gyms that have every piece of equipment known to man, but it fails for those that don’t. It’s a great guide to some basic workouts, but anyone serious should look elsewhere. The “swap” component is nice but it should have specific movements that it at least recommends rather than just a giant list of movements that don’t work the muscles in the same way at all.

  • Great but running into some issues.

    I’m trying this app for a month. It’s been really great. But running into some problems. 1: I can’t view historical of the weight reps I did in previous workouts. This should be given. Example: I didn’t add in a hang strength number so the workout didn’t give me weight to do. I did the exercise and added the weight manually. In the workout this week I can’t see the weight I did?? 2: Along with first problem. Would like to see a full detail of what I did (weights and reps) for every workout. 3: If I manually put in a higher weight for an exercise, the history still shows the weight Volt told me to do. This is most frustrating... Please update these. If I’m going to continue paying for subscription this is basic. What I like: 1: Easy to change workouts. 2: Variety if workouts.

    I am in a few sports and the one i really want to train for us figure skating. i’m under ice hockey bc that’s pretty close but not close enough I hope they add figure skating in the future

    After clicking “start workout” and skipping warmup, the screen gets stuck on the “starting workout” with the orange background. If I choose to do a warmup, after clicking the orange “complete warmup” option nothing happens as well... it just brings me back to the warmup options and the only way to proceed is to click skip again.

    After experimenting with a few different programs within the app, it's clear these workouts are randomized with no clear focus on training days. Take a little extra time to research and build your own program - you'll get better results quicker. Pros: Good explanation of proper form with accompanying photos. Workouts not repetitive. Cons: No focused workouts. Programs seem completely randomized. Results delivered very slowly over 52 weeks (i.e. a year). Overpriced for what it delivers.
